Choosing SPIE means giving yourself the opportunity to grow in an international Group located on every continent and try out a wide diversity of positions. But it also means working in energy and the environment, sectors with the future at the very heart of the sustainable development stakes!
Choosing SPE means also working for a responsible employer where the well-being of its employees and the development of their skills take priority.
Joining SPIE means drawing new inSPIEration for your career!
At SPIE, we will give you the means to work autonomously. Advised and guided with full confidence by your management, you will be encouraged to take initiatives. For instance, starting assistant business managers are rapidly entrusted with a team and the management of the client.
In our lines of business, well-being at work comes down to being able to work under optimal safety conditions. To achieve our “zero accident” goal, we are pursuing a voluntary risk prevention – and better still – anticipation policy.
Working at SPIE means joining a tightly knit team where a sense of listening and sharing contributes to a good climate. To promote discussions, our Business Line clubs invite teams from different subsidiaries to cross-fertilize their knowledge and expertise and encourage open-mindedness. We always promote solidarity and mutual assistance between the departments and the subsidiaries.
Being a group of significant size, we combine great flexibility, particularly thanks to our strong local roots, very close to our clients. We offer our employees numerous internal and external mobility opportunities. Our human resources policy promotes geographic and professional developments within the Group. And if you wish to take on new missions, our training modules will help you acquire the necessary skills.
Our differences are all opportunities: we bring this conviction to life through strong commitments to diversity. Thus, we guarantee equal treatment and opportunities during recruitment and throughout the professional career of our employees.
Our diversity committee and charter focus on four priority lines of progress:
As the impact of coronavirus on our activities increases and in the face of ever-stricter government measures to halt its spread, SPIE Belgium would like to inform you about the steps it has taken within the organisation.
To this day:
SPIE Belgium has decided not to stop its activities completely, considering that some of these may be essential or even critical to maintaining the activities of companies in critical sectors and essential services that are vital to the smooth running of the country. This is being done, of course, in strict respect of the measures taken by the authorities, and treating the health and safety of our staff, our clients, our suppliers and sub-contractors as a priority.
This unprecedented crisis reminds us of the importance of two of our founding values: responsibility and proximity. By each taking our responsibilities, we will overcome this ordeal.
Drawing strength from our 120 years of experience and from the solidity of the Group to which we belong, we remain confident in the future and in our mutual capacity to adapt and be resilient.
